On March 24, Gani Sergazin, Vice President of ALT University(Kazakhstan), and Teodora Hristova, Vice President of University of Rousse(Balgaria), visited our school. The three parties held discussions on future cooperation. Xu Chengcheng, Vice Dean of the School of Transportation, and Ni Junjun, Wang Jian, and Wu Xiqiang, assistants to the Dean, attended the meeting.Vice Dean Xu Chengcheng extended a warm welcome to Gani Sergazin and Teodora Hristova and their delegations. He introduced the basic situation of the School of Transportation from the perspectives of disciplinary development, faculty team, scientific research innovation, talent cultivation, and international exchange. He stated that this exchange would contribute wisdom and strength to the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and looked forward to both sides leveraging scientific research projects and other platforms to jointly create a new highland for China-Central Asia transportation research.
Gani Sergazin expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from the School of Transportation and introduced the history, disciplinary characteristics, and laboratory construction of Kazakhstan Logistics and Transport University. Based on the university's scientific research achievements and practical experience in the fields of logistics and transportation, he expressed his expectation to establish a mutual visit mechanism for mutual learning, mutual progress, and win-win outcomes, so as to enhance exchanges and expand cooperation areas and innovative cooperation models.
Teodora Hristova systematically introduced the disciplinary expertise and research progress of University of Ruse, Bulgaria in related fields, highly praised the educational strength and characteristics of the School of Transportation, expressed a strong willingness to deepen international cooperation, and hoped that both sides could carry out in-depth cooperation in areas such as scientific research and talent cultivation.During the discussion and exchange session, the three parties discussed the feasibility of cooperation in student exchange, faculty mutual visits, and joint scientific research. In the future, all parties will adhere to the principles of openness, cooperation, and mutual benefit, further improve the cooperation and exchange mechanism, and continuously strengthen cooperative relations through measures such as mutual faculty visits and joint scientific research.
All three parties unanimously stated that this meeting provided a valuable platform for exchange, deepened mutual understanding and trust, and laid a solid foundation for subsequent cooperation.
