Recently, the China-ASEAN Emerging Areas in Transportation Capacity Building Cooperation Project Preparatory Meeting and Transportation Technology Innovation & Talent Development Seminar were successfully held at School of Transportation, Southeast University. Representatives from universities, ASEAN partner institutions, and leading industry enterprises gathered to engage in in-depth exchanges on China-ASEAN cooperation mechanisms, technological innovation, talent development, and project implementation pathways in emerging areas of transportation. These discussions helped build broad consensus for advancing subsequent cooperative projects and promoting regional transportation synergistic development.

With "collaborative innovation, joint international expansion, and shared standards development" as its core themes, this meeting focused on ASEAN countries' transportation industry transformation needs and China's technological and industrial advantages, establishing an integrated exchange and cooperation platform that connects government, industry, academia, research, and application sectors.

The successful convening of this seminar has laid a solid foundation for China-ASEAN cooperation in transportation electrification and intelligentization, established a collaborative bridge connecting government, enterprises, and universities, and clarified specific implementation pathways and action plans. Going forward, all parties will take this meeting as a starting point to establish regular communication and coordination mechanisms, steadily advance various cooperative efforts, and promote China-ASEAN transportation cooperation toward deeper levels, broader areas, and higher standards.
